Bunker hammers
Bridging
If you deal with bulk storage or bulk materials, you are likely familiar with ratholing and arching, two of the most common problems during storage. These problems can be very harmful to the continuity of your process. Where pneumatic vibrators are intended specifically to maintain an outflow, a bunker hammer is especially suitable for initiating optimum outflow. Our bunker hammers are particularly suited to resolving, or (indeed) preventing, ratholing and arching, but also for removing adhesion and residues in pipes and on walls.
Main features:
- compressed air-powered impact mechanism
- explosion-protected
- strong force of impact even at low pressure
- low air consumption
- low maintenance costs
- steplessly adjustable
- suitable for oil-containing and oil-free compressed air
- adjustable at high temperatures
A bunker hammer is an impact mechanism powered by compressed air, essentially the replacement of the ordinary hammer, and strikes the sides of silo walls or bunker outlets. The strength of the impact is adjustable and the beater can provide a single impact or continuous impacts at an adjustable time interval. GIPA produces two types of bunker hammers: The GMK series and the GBK series
Bunker Hammer GMK series small
A series of small and medium-sized bunker hammers, well suited for preventing and resolving arching or ratholing in bunkers, silos and more…
Bunker Hammer GMK Series Middle-sized
A series of small and medium-sized bunker hammers, well suited for preventing and resolving arching or ratholing in bunkers, silos and more…
Bunker hammer GBK series
A stainless steel bunker hammer that has very strong force of impact even at low pressure. Particularly well suited for mounting on large bunkers and silos.
