GMK Bunker Knockers

De Wilde Triltechniek produces a series of small to medium-sized bunker knockers that are particularly suitable for mounting on your bunker or silo; the GMK bunker knockers. This bunker knocker hits silo walls or bunker outlets where the force is adjustable. The bunker knocker can give a single stroke, but also continuous beating with an easily adjustable interval using a timer valve combination on mounting profile.

Application

Bunker knockers can be used, among other things, to prevent and remedy bridging, tunneling (ratholing), removing adhesions and preventing fouling in, for example, weighing bunkers and the emptying of silos and funnels.

For the GMK Bunker Knockers we have universal mounting plates available in steel and stainless steel, as well as a sound damping plate, or a mounting plate KIT, to reduce the noise when desired.

GBK Bunker knockers

De Wilde Triltechniek has produced GBK bunker knockers for large bunkers and silos or other applications where a heavy blow is required. This GBK bunker knocker is similar to the bunker knockers from the GMK series, with the difference that they have a stainless steel housing instead of aluminum and can give a particularly heavy blow, even at low pressure. The bunker knocker can give a single stroke, but also continuous beating with an easily adjustable interval using a timer valve combination on mounting profile.

Operation

Inside the cylinder is a piston in which a heavy magnet is mounted. Due to this magnet, the piston ‘attaches’ to a counter plate in the cylinder cover, even when the compressed air is supplied. Only after the compressed air has reached a pressure of approx. 3,5 bar does the magnet release and the piston will hit the impact plate with great force. After the impact and as soon as the air has escaped, the piston is pushed back into the starting position by a light spring.

Application

GBK bunker knockers can be used, among other things, to prevent and remedy bridge formation, tunnel formation (ratholing), removal of adhesion and prevention of growth in, for example, weighing bunkers and the emptying of large silos and funnels.

Recommended working pressure: 4 bar

Maximum working pressure: 6 bar

In order to provide you with an even better service, we have developed 3 different base plates for this bunker knocker, so that you can easily choose which combination you need in your current situation. See the chart below for the various sizes:

Diameter STC hole Hole diameter
ø150 ø 125 ø 12,5
ø 180 ø 152 ø 13,0
ø 180 ø 152 ø 17,0

Mounting plates are available in steel and stainless steel for the GBK Bunker Knockers.
